Arizona BioIndustry Association (AZBio)

The Arizona Bioindustry Association (AZBio) is the only statewide organization exclusively focused on Arizona’s bioscience industry. AZBio membership includes patient advocacy organizations, life science innovators, educators, healthcare partners and leading business organizations. AZBio is the statewide affiliate of the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) and works in partnership with AdvaMed, MDMA, and PhRMA to advance innovation and to ensure that the value delivered from life-changing and life-saving innovation benefits people in Arizona and around the world.

Arizona Commerce Authority

The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) is Arizona’s statewide economic development organization with a mission to strengthen Arizona’s economy. Organized as a public-private partnership, the ACA recruits out-of-state companies to expand their operations in Arizona and also works with existing companies to grow their business — in and out of the state.

ASU SkySong

The Arizona State University Scottsdale Innovation Center, SkySong is home to a global business community that links technology, research, education and entrepreneurship to position ASU and Greater Phoenix as global leaders in the knowledge economy. A joint venture among ASU, the ASU Foundation, the City of Scottsdale and the Plaza Companies, SkySong is 3 miles from ASU’s research-intensive Tempe campus and 15 minutes from Sky Harbor International Airport.

Arizona Technology Council

The Arizona Technology Council is the driving force behind making our state the fastest growing technology hub in the nation; connecting and empowering Arizona’s technology community. The Arizona Technology Council offers numerous events, educational forums and business conferences that bring together leaders, managers, employees and visionaries to make an impact on the technology industry. The Council is Arizona's only statewide organization serving the technology sector.

Canada Arizona Business Council (CABC)

This membership organization was formed to promote and increase bilateral Foreign Direct Investment, Trade, and Tourism between Canada and Arizona. The CABC brings together senior players in every industry on both sides of the border.

Greater Phoenix Economic Council

The Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) is one of the region’s premier economic development groups – for more than 25 years. It is a public-private partnership representing Maricopa County, 23 communities throughout the region and more than 170 private investors. GPEC provides In-depth market data and analysis, site-selection services, and connections to Arizona’s key leaders and companies.

Maricopa Community Colleges

Each of the 10 colleges (including the locally based Scottsdale Community College) are individually accredited yet part of a larger system - the Maricopa County Community College District. It is one of the largest providers of higher education in the United States. The colleges play a vital role in enhancing the region's competitive strength and economic vitality by providing skilled workers for high demand careers such as nursing, allied health, protective services and information technology.

Experience Scottsdale (formerly known as the Scottsdale Convention & Visitors Bureau) is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit, private company that has contracted with the City of Scottsdale to conduct destination marketing efforts on behalf of the City.

Industrial Development Authority

The City of Scottsdale Economic Development Department is liaison to the City of Scottsdale Industrial Development Authority.

Arizona@Work

ARIZONA@WORK is the statewide workforce development network that helps employers of all sizes and types recruit, develop and retain the best employees for their needs. For job seekers throughout the state, they provide services and resources to pursue employment opportunities. IT is a public private partnership with 12 regional areas and 47 local offices, offering services at no charge through the support of federal funding.
