The City of Scottsdale Ranks High on Startup List
Scottsdale, AZ (November 1, 2019) - The City of Scottsdale was ranked one of the best cities to launch a startup in the US! Financial lending company, Fundera gathered intel on 50 mid-sized American cities with a population under 500,000 residents. They
ranked the cities based on office space vacancy, average cost of office space per square foot, cost of living and ease of access to a talented workforce.
Scottsdale, AZ ranked number 11 on the list of 50. Scottsdale’s affluent population, the high percentage of educated residents and low operational costs are key factors in the ranking. Over 56% of residents have obtained
a bachelors degree or higher making Scottsdale a dream for employers looking to hire top talent. Scottsdale has also launched their job board, Scottsdale.jobs which gives employers direct access competitive job seekers
hoping to land a new career with a Scottsdale based company. Also, Fundera found that the average office space leases for just under $23 per square foot. This is significantly less than Silicon Valley where most startups
plant their roots.
