Refreshed branding reflects the balance of life in Scottsdale
Scottsdale, AZ (Jan. 12, 2021)Scottsdale's Economic Development Department today announced a brand refresh to kick off the new year. Much has changed in recent years, but Scottsdale remains a modern city that is a balance of day
and night, city and nature, and work and play. The city offers a place where high-skilled workers find work-leisure equilibrium.
“The newly refreshed logo and color scheme helps to clearly articulate the brand and values to the marketplace and beyond,” said Rob Millar, director of Scottsdale's Economic Development Department. The extensive refresh project, launched in 2021
began with an analysis of stakeholders that included residents, talent, companies, site selectors, and visitors. Their feedback was crucial in the creation of the new logo and color palette. The new brand persona will continue to position
Scottsdale as an inviting and inclusive community.
As simple graphics and clarity have become more appealing within the modern marketplace, our new logo captures the “S” in a nod to the balance found in the city. The featured font is bold and sends a message of confidence with the period at the
end. The fresh, yet bold color palette achieves one of the key themes of the new brand persona – balance. The city is accessible, beautiful, modern and skilled in both work and leisure.
Watch for the new logo and color palette as the team continues work on initiatives highlighted in the Five-Year Strategic Plan. With a refreshed look that helps better reflect the community and marketplace, Scottsdale's Economic Development
Department is adapting and building momentum to remain sustainably successful.
Scottsdale is one of the state's leading job centers, with a diverse economy built on medical research, high-tech innovation, tourism and corporate headquarters. More than 25,000 companies do business in Scottsdale, supplying roughly 200,000 jobs.
