(FLAGSTAFF, Ariz., Nov. 1, 2018) – The city of Scottsdale has won a Golden Prospector Award from the Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED), recognizing excellence, innovation and creativity in economic development.
Scottsdale’s “Downtown Business Spotlight Series and Gathering Events,” was named tops in the multimedia promotion category featuring a promotional piece, series of promotional pieces or promotional campaign that contains non-printed elements. This can include videos, mailed promotional items, etc.
Overall, 12 Golden Prospector Awards were presented at AAED’s fall forum in Flagstaff. “The Golden Prospector Awards were established by AAED to encourage and recognize excellence in economic development,” said Joyce Grossman, AAED’s executive director. “This year’s winners truly demonstrate how effective they are in their respective communities.”
AAED, founded in 1974, has a mission to serve as Arizona’s unified voice advocating for responsible economic development through an effective program of professional education, public policy, and collaboration.
