Orion Health Hosting a Ribbon Cutting Event to Celebrate the Opening of its New Center of Excellence in Scottsdale

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Feb. 19, 2015 – Orion Health, a population health management and healthcare integration company, today announced a ribbon cutting ceremony officially opening the Orion Health Center of Excellence located in the Scottsdale Airpark on Thursday, Feb. 26 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. located at 7350 East Evans Road, Building C. Event attendees include Scottsdale Mayor W.J. “Jim” Lane; Faron Thompson, COO of Scottsdale Health Partners; Greg Linaman, Chief Operating Officer of the Arizona Commerce Authority; and David Bennett, Executive Vice President at Orion Health.

The Center of Excellence expands the company’s footprint in North America and is expected to employ more than 100 developers by the end of 2015. It will serve as the company’s local research and solution center, supporting big data analytics and open technology development. The center will house a combination of product development and SaaS operations (Network Operations Centre [NOC]), global managed services and client support specialist teams to support its North American-based clients. Projects will include building out SaaS-based Application Programming Interface (API) management solutions to access data and analytics, helping clients deliver enhanced patient care and improved outcomes.
